I started my media career in Manchester, working across both Consumer and B2B markets. For more than 20 years, I have focussed on both Animal and Human Healthcare. I am passionate about independent readership research; have helped to develop key human pharma research, as well as setting up the first independent Veterinary Readership Survey in 2010. Innovative media campaign construction is vital for the success of the brands with which we work. These passions lead me to a 3 Year Chair of the Veterinary Marketing Association.
A client once described me as ‘a thinking partner’ and that sums up how we work; putting client needs and objectives at the centre of our world and using our vast experience of media opportunities to best identify solutions to their communication challenges. I’m analytical and creative. My 15+ years in the healthcare sector ensure I’m efficacy focused and as an economics graduate I understand the concepts of opportunity cost, cost-effectiveness and return on investment better than anybody.
Having spent over 15 years working across both the medical and animal health sectors, my core focus is now on the veterinary and farming markets. Despite the fact that budgets can be limited in this marketplace, I try to make them work hard whilst still being innovative and creative with the media. Clients often compliment me on providing an efficient service and having a good attention to detail. I have established strong relationships with the publishers and think they would consider me to be a firm but fair negotiator.
Starting work as a pharmacy manager, I subsequently became a sales representative before transferring into sales and marketing management, working as a general or country manager for human, veterinary and device companies. In my son Luke’s early years I moved into B2B, working on database marketing and electronic sales and training programmes, building relationships with some great technology partners. This shaped my belief in a technically holistic model to successful selling, leveraging every piece of data to precisely profile your target audience and achieve optimum coverage frequency of relevant customer touch points to maximise return on investment. Joining Wrigley Foster, a company I have known and admired since its inception, was very much a meeting of like minds.

I started my media planning and buying career in a specialist healthcare agency in Manchester. Now with over 30 years of experience, I developed a deep knowledge of the human and animal healthcare markets and the ever changing media serving them – both specialist and consumer. I served a 2 year term as Chair Woman of the PM Society and, with a passion for media measurement, Chair Woman of the Technical Sub-Committee of NMRS. As a founding director of Wrigley Foster, and following a few years sabbatical, I just couldn’t keep away so returned to Wrigley Foster.
I joined Wrigley Foster in 2014 having worked in administration and office management roles since gaining a degree in Film & TV Studies in 2006. I’m the person that keeps the office running smoothly, providing essential administration and accounts support to the whole team. From booking on orders and dealing with accounts queries to generating and analysing market intelligence reports, I always work with a high level of efficiency and enthusiasm.
